While we can't promise that we will be hand feeding, there is ample opportunity to go out in the paddock and chase sheep at your leisure...(certainly makes the kids sleep well !) The kids can also collect the fresh eggs, explore the dry creek, try their luck at catching yabbies, and ride bikes until their little legs turn to jelly. You will find a couple of yabby nets, pushbikes and a wild set of golf sticks in the old stables. The small barbie will help you enjoy the afternoon shade while you kick back on the verandah and watch the kids playing in the trees. Larger groups might like to spread out and use the Managers House which is also self contained and about 150 paces from the cottage. While here, take the opportunity to enjoy the Wilber walking track. It is 5.5 kms and takes you across the plain where you may be lucky enough to spot the Brolgas before you enjoy the stroll back along the creek. Guided Farm Tours are also available.
