The Party Shed A common area ideal for groups of all ages
Located in the middle of the 3 houses is the machinery shed and workshop. The workshop has been converted to a "party shed" for people to use as a common area. During school holidays, we try to host a free lamb BBQ there on Wednesday nights so families can mix and we can have a "chin-wag" with everyone. We ask visiting families to bring along a salad or hot dish. It has lounge, dining and kitchen areas and at cooler times a bonfire can be built out the front. There are 2 ovens, gas burners, 2 fridges, a wood stove and a big serving bench. Used in conjunction with the accommodation, it has proven to be a great venue for parties, celebrations and group meals and is enjoyed by all ages. If you are planning on using the shed for a private celebration, please contact me in advance as a fee and bond is required. The shed may also be used for accommodation. It has 4 double sofa-beds and linen may be hired for these if you have a house booked. ** As the shed is a common area and has no bathroom, you MUST have other houses booked to use it for "bottom of the ladder" accommodation.
